Hello Experts,
During QA11 I am selecting(batch status) as unrestricted but posting in restricted. If I do restricted then its going unrestricted.
Note : If I maintain batch in classification then the problem occur. If I remove classification then its works as expected.
And one more problem is transaction code reflects as MSC2N. QA11 Should have been reflected in material document.
Please this is bit urgent and I have tried to debug several ways but no clue.
I am expecting your earliest response.
Regards,
A Vadamalai.
Hello,
Please implement OSS note 1935699 - QA11: Stock inconsistency after status change in batch stock
and implement the note 1930161 to solve this issue.

Hello,
Are you using standard characteristic LOBM_ZUSTD ?
Could you please share screen shot of UD code QS51?
Status change to "Unrestricted" due to UD code
Status change to "Restricted" due to UD code.
Check OMCT for plant with batch status management.
This could be due to if batch status management is active for the corresponding plant and if the batch is assigned to the inspection lot when the usage decision is being made and the status of the batch is restricted.

Hi Brahmankar,
Thanks a lot for your immediate response. Please find more
details below.
No we are not using standard batch characteristics. In MSC3N ,we have
batch status box with radio button for Unrestricted and restricted use.
The similar box for status change appears during UD and statuses in MSC3N are in sync with what we enter during usage decision.
2. We are doing stock posting without UD code with
restriction imposed through enhancement that stock can not be posted to Unrestricted
use without UD code. It can be posted to restricted use only.
Here If we do partial posting to restricted use then Batch
status (in MSC3N) is in sync with Stock (in MMBE). However if post full quantity
to restricted use though Batch status (in MSC3N) shows restricted, stock
appears in Unrestricted use. Stock should have been in restricted use.
3. Batch status is active in OMCT configuration
Awaiting for your reply
Thanks,
A Vadamalai
