Issue in Estimated costs made editable

Hi Team,

Currently we have implemented the estimated costs functionality in our system. After this the user is copying the planned costs to estimated costs. Once the costs is copied the estimated cost field is grayed out. The business wants to make this field editable after the planned costs are copied. Please let me know if you have come across any such scenario and your help will be greatly appreciated.

Hello Surya,

This field is greyed out after the Order is Released. Because this impacts cost related reports, I doubt we should try to make it editable after Order Release.

Hi Kavala,

In this case we are copying the planned costs to estimated costs during the created status post which it is grayed out and we want it to be editable.

You mean to say it is Greyed-out in CRTD status itself? How you are copying the values from Planned to Estimated? If you are doing some enhancement, modify that as per your requirement.
