error occurred in phase PREP_EXTENSION/EHP_INCLUSION while doing solman Update SP05 to SP14 throuhg SUM

Dear Experts,

I am updating SP05 to SP14 in Solution Manager through latest SUM.

Getting below error at PREP_EXTENSION/EHP_INCLUSION

       Severe error(s) occurred in phase PREP_EXTENSION/EHP_INCLUSION!

Last error code set: Disassembling patch queue failed rc = 3, reason = 'Error when creating cofile for transport request SAPK-100AHINUIINFRA' If you put new packages in the download directory, use option 'init' to upload them

I already given full permission to below folders :

Error attached.

E:\usr\sap\trans

H:\Dump\SUMSOL

But still no luck. Please suggest.

Platform details :

OS - Windows 2012 R2

DB - 11.2.0.3

Solman - Solution Manager 7.1 SR1

Hi Narendra,

In other cases, I have seen where similar errors have been solved by updating the Kernel Patch. Have you checked these levels?

Thanks for your reply,

There was issue with permission, Also I start from scratch and put SUM directory under SID folder.

now its working fine.

Given permission SAP_SOL_Localadmin to /usr/sap/trans folder.
