I am in a new job which uses Crystal Reports mainly for 'packing slips' in shipments. I heard that they want to do barcoding
and use such data in the reports. Are there any issues in doing this? I heard that you have to get special font
softwares for this. If so, which ones would you reccomend me.

For barcode font you can download
it from websites who offers the fonts free
eg

To install the font please
follow the steps given below:
1.Un-zip the fonts folder.
2.Copy the
fonts.
3.Go to “Control panel” > “Fonts”
4.Paste the fonts inside
this folder.
Then you can make use of these fonts.
However if
you want to purchase a barcode font set you can purchase it from vendors such as
Azalea Software or IDAutomation. Install the barcode fonts according to the
instructions provided by the vendor. Also, you need to download the latest
barcode User Function Library files (UFL’s) from their web site at:
