Installing a external JDBC adapter in Netweaver 740 in PI

Hi,

Has anyone install the above? I am following SAP Note 1770304 and 1770206 to install the JDBC adapter. I could see that the ".sda" was installed during installation of the PI system. So, I just extracted file "com.sap.aii.adapter.lib" located in picture 1 but file "provider.xml" was not found when it was extracted.

Only below files are found when extracted. Even folder "server" was not found.

Could someone help me out? Thanks.

Hi Sha lane.

I do this configuration with sucess, so I don't extract the file "SAPXI3RDPARTYxxxxx.SCA" from PI server. I checked actual version of the my PI and download the file "xxxx.SCA" directly from sap site:

SAP NetWeaver and complementary products" SAP NetWeaver" SAP NETWEAVER 7.4" Entry by Component" Process Integration

XI 3RD PARTY 7.40 -> # OS independent

Then I copy libraries and change the file provider.xml as related in SAP Note.
