Excel Crashing using EPM SP23 PL1

Hi Experts,

Currently we are using below version of EPM and office.

1. Office 365 Pro Plus , Version  : 15.0.4745.1001

2. EPM Add In : SP23 PL1 .Net 4.0 , Build : 9277

When user opening reports using this new EPM add in then his excel freezes and crashes with BPC constantly. It is showing "Not Responding" and there after system doing nothing. System gets very slow with EPM Add in. Some time user receive error saying "There is not enough memory to complete this action".

Can someone help me to with the solution of this excel crash. Just want to understand if current version is not compatible with office 365 or any other issue with this.

Hello Parag,

As of EPM Add-in SP18, Office 365 is supported, both 32 bit and 64 bit. Please

refer to SAP Note 2047642 - How to check whether Office 365 is supported by EPM
Add-in

But the same note states that EPM add-in as Office Add-on is not working with Office 365 for certain

installations due to VBA module disabled. Please approach Microsoft to ensure

VBA component enabled.

Thanks Noura for the immediate response. But i heard that for Office 365 EPM version should be SP20 and above which will supported.

Do  you have any idea how to check whether VBA component is disabled or enabled? Right now not all user getting similar issue. But i am trying to understand whether it's because of EPM or office 365.

I can recommend to temporary disable the antivirus software and check for improvements!
