Hi Marc,
We have 2 Users, 3 Roles
Users: (User1,User2), Roles:- Standard Editor, Standard Readonly, Standard Manager.
Standard Editor Permissions: Chapter Edit, View
Standard Readonly Permissioins: Chapter View, Report View
Standard Manager Permissons : Report Edit, Chapter Edit, Chapter View
I have Assigned to for Roles
User1: Standard Editor,Readonly, User2: Standard Editor, standard Readonly,Manager
In the custom work flow,
once user1 submit(activity) the Chapter, he should not get the permissions to edit the document. Whereas here user1 can still edit after the submission(activity) of the document.
So my concern is how can i restrict the user1 not to edit the document once he submited (activity).
Have attached screen shots below for more reference..
kindly look intot it.
Thanks!

Hello Veera,
In fact, you can achieve this by using "condition steps"
Here's my example of the workflow
So, I have 2 roles (Editor and Approver). When the workflow reaches "Finished", you need to have the Approver role to be able to edit the chapter
This works as follows
1. There are 2 users, user1 is the editor, user2 the approver
2. User 1 opens the chapter and edits it
When complete, he sets the workflow status to 'Finished"
3. Once workflow is "Finished" the chapter cannot be edited by user1
note: edit button is still active, but a warning is displayed
4. User2 can still edit (and can also reject/approve)
