Hello,
we are currently buidling our BI-Launchpad. Therefore we integrated DS-templates witth the XQUERY Parameter to set the opened querry via the link.
Now we wonder if this is true for Analysis for Office as well. We do not want to open workbooks but a query in ao directly, so we do not have to create a workbook for each query.
Thanks for any help.
I'm desperatly looking for the same feature.
We really want to make our implementation as self-service and light as possible on IT-side, so having an extra layer of workbooks to maintain would not be desired.
We're BI4.1SP5 and AO2.1 and i find no such option.

I am not aware of that functionality in Analysis Office
If you don't want to open a workbook for every query, you are better off using the Design Studio templates for these features
