GR for process order

Hello All,

User is doing below steps

1. GR for process order (TR gets generated)

2. Quality team does usage decision & move the sock to unretricted (using movement 321)

3. When user try to check TR after UD can not see TR. User is gettign message TR does not exist

IS user following correct process flow? if not can anybody let me know the correct process flow. Is it necessary to create TO before UD?

As a result of UD system perform the posting in background.

UD creates Posting change notice document as there is a change in Quant characteristic hence you will have PCN document in system and not Transfer request.

Hi Amit,

This is happening because initially when the TR is created it is with stock category 'Q'.

The stock is lying in intermediate st. type 901 and stock type is Q.

When you record the UD in Inspection lot, it makes the stock from Q to Unrestricted use. As such the quant characteristics have changed. Now if you try and create a TO wrt the original TR you would be doubling the stock so, SAP in the background is deleting that TR.

The only option left would be to move the stock from 901 using LT10.

You can create and confirm the TO before recording UD.
