Labor Welfare fund Requirment

Hi Experts,

For configuring the Labor Welfare Fund details, what all important information has to be gathered from the Client.

If i look at the system it has only a section for positions grouping.

Please guide me a bit on this.

Hi,

You will ask them about the LWF rate from employee's and employer's side for all PA & PSA grouping and also ask the contribution frequency and period details.

Go to the LWF note under the Payroll India you will get the details about this.

Hi,

EE's & ER's contribution to LWF depends on the State and salary slab. So, you may have to find out to which State's Labour welfare Office your company to pay the contribution.

Also check, how they were doing the same in their legacy system so far.

You will have to get the information of employee and employer contribution rates.

Contribution frequency and period details.

Grouping all can be done wrt PA, PSA.

rest of the things can be configured in a normal way.
