I attempted to book a new employee for absences but the error message stated that the dates selected are non working days. However the dates are working days on the work schedule calendar assigned to the employee's PA and PSA. Can someone help out please

Hi,

Better you check it from IT2001-> Select Absence. You will get exact Idea.

Hi,

Please check weather Start date/End Date falls on any non working day?

Also check counting rule, if Start Date and End Date seems working in work schedule rule but in counting rule you haven't considered then system will check and give such error message.

Check:

1. Start Date is WOFF/Off day?

2. End Date is WOFF/Off day?

3. Counting Rule: Any day does not considered in counting of Absence days.

Thanks,

Ketul

Hi,

Check that any of the dates (start date & end date) of your absence booking is lying in the Non working day's.

Due to that's reason it's giving the error.

It's better to share PWS Monthly for the Current month and IT2001 entry details screenshot.

In IT 2001 entry screen, navigate to Work schedule, select a period with a couple of days on either side of the absence period, this will show the WS including any substitutions.

Check the relevant days for the WS type/hrs.

It is also possible DWS variants may have been used for the absence period.
