Department ID -Mandatory

Hi,

In the Item overview of PR  screen,,I want to make field DEPARTMENT ID as Mandatory. I do not find field selection  for this to make as mandatory.

Can you please give any tips?

What is the field name (press F1, then techn. field help)?

Field name is BEDNR and data element BEDNR.

This is available in the field selection "Reference data, item",   it is called "Requirement tracking number"

Hi,

There is no field as DEPARTMENT in PR but DEPARTMENT can be created as purchasing group and with development  purchasing group can link to cost center(KS01/KS02/KS03) where later purchasing group can be entered as DEPARTMENT in PR.

Requirement tracking number is a Number that facilitates the monitoring of procurement of requirement material or service.
