My questions are,

1) who is responsible for defining E-REC function module & business packages, Functional consultant, Basis or ABAP

2) what is the difference b/w function module & business package

3) do we need both function module & business packages for E-REC portal

4) do we need to configure eye views after implementing function modules & business packages

5) fro where we can get the list of function module & business package for E-REC

We have Netweaver 7.4, EHP 7, ECC 6

Thanks

Hi Shahid,

here are my answers:

1) business packages -> SAP enterprise Portal Administrator

function module -> ABAP Developer

2)Business package -> package for enterprise portal which contains portal content like iviews, roles etc. BP have to be implemented in enterprise portal

function module -> something like bap program in the backend, can be called in other programs and has a defined interface

3)You need the BP's to display eRe content in the portal. Function modules are part of the eRe backed functionality. Those are already installed in then backend.

4)No

5)There is no list of function modules. The BP for eRe can be downloaded from service market place

hope that helps..

Hi Shahid,

maybe you have to configure a "system" connection in the enterprise portal. The system which is a portal object  contains all connection data from portal to recruiting backend. Therefor you need a portal specialist.

Please check this url:

Business Package for Employee Self-Service (WDA) 1.50 - SAP Librarygards

For System configuration please check this URL:

best regards
