Setting authorization in MIR4 save as completed button

Former Member

Hi,

I want to set an authorization in MIR4 screen's "save as completed" button. However I couldn't find the name of variant or anything usefull. Could someone show this process step by step to me? (i.e. user A has an authorization to save invoice document as completed but on the other hand user B hasn't got this authorization)

I'm looking forward to hearing from you guys

Thanks

Use the authorization object M_RECH_WRK in users role.

Activity = 01 User can save invoice as completed

Activity = 77 User can only park invoice

I doubt that you can create a transaction variant that hides the save button based on a failed authorization check. I even wonder why this is needed if the user has no authorization then he can't save it regardless how often he click the save button.

Hi,

Hope you are talking about MIR7. Anyway, you can create a transaction variant for MIR7 (or MIR4) in SHD0 transaction and hide the "save as completed" push button in the variant and assign the variant to only the specific user(s) through variant groups. Refer the help doc: Creating Variant Groups and Assigning Users - Changing the SAP Standard (BC) - SAP Library
