OrgChart 4.3 SP 2 - How to Edit OrgUnitPositionEmployee Details?

Hello

I have successfully edited the OrgUnitEmployee details from within the admin console. However, there is related employee information inside the OrgUnitPosition details component that cannot be edited in the admin console.

I was wondering if:

• this must be edited directly in the XML files; and if so
• what file would I need to edit.

The details that I need to remove pertain to the extended employee details that are contained in the OrgUnitPosition details window.

Any pointers will be appreciated.

Hello Richard,

I had the same issue.

You can remove items from the extended employee details section by using security settings.You can make the fields secure items and than make sure they are deleted from the relevant roles.

Apologies for not responding earlier - I did manage to resolve this issue. I believe Thalia's answer is correct.

I did however, edit the xml file directly.
