RFC between Data Services 4.2 and BW

Hi, im trying to establish a RFC between SAP DS and BW, apparently communication is Ok.

but now im trying to send information from SQL using DS to BW, but when i execute my job after a few seconds this is the message is receive.

and now im not sure where to look at, if there´s some basis task or should i do something in DS Sever./Configuration.

the BW datastore is probably set to 'execute preloaded'. Try change it to 'generate and execute'

Hi Allan, i dont think so, cause when you create a RFC Target to BW the configuration does not include ABAP execution option

Hi Gerardo,

Its strange !!

Can you try creating the DSO in the BW again and reimport the Target BW Structure in DS. We have an option in Target BW which I dont remember. Can you please check and send me the screenshot.

Also did you restart the RFC Instance and check if the issue exists or not

Can you check if the RFC destination is pointing to a load balanced configuration. Also seek help from SAP BW Basis Team to understand if there are any recent configuration changes at the SAP BW side.

thank you, Arun, apparently there were a few changes on BW side, so i will review what change on the infosource and be sure that the issue is not in DS side.

Did you have a look at the SAP Note 1779659 Data Services returns BAPI message Error 694 (RSM) no further processing allowed > from method <BAPI_ISOURCE_TD_T_SEND>

the answer is yes, according to that Note, i should be sure that my Data Flow has only one BW transfer structure

Hi Gerardo,

Can you cehck if the DSO or Cube 8ZCRMOT15_AA exists on the SAP BW System.

Open the SAP BW DataStore and Go to External metadata and search for this target bw structure. Try reimporting the object and then save and run the job.

yes, the DSO and cube exists on BW, weird thing is that we execute the job from BW and it works.

should i do something else?

when you executed job from BW , did you execute in 300 client ?
