Azure Instance Connectivity Issue - When I suspend and restart an instance

Hi,

I created an instance of "SAP HANA, developer edition 1.0 SPS 09" on  Azure. I am not using a static IP.

I was able to successfully connect to my instance and was able to view the portal screen. I was able to login to the system from eclipse.

1. But when I suspended the instance and activated it again I was not able to connect(using the new IP). I see the instance successfully running in the azure portal. So I deleted the instance and recreated a new one and was able to successfully connect

2. This connectivity issue happens every time the instance is suspended and restarted. I have to recreate the instance from scratch every time

3. I even tried stopping and restarting the instance from Azure portal as well as CAL SAP but I have the same issue.

Has anyone else faced this problem. Is some other setting changes or diagnostics that I can run to fix this issue?

Thank You,

Benedict

No Pete, I couldnt find any workaround. I finally gave up and created an instance in AWS.
