No connection to repository; establish connect to loaded repository

Hi,

We are facing issue while loading the repository from my ABAP system. We have MDM_TECH 710_731 sp 02 in our system.

Following steps are included:

1. Goto /n/SRMNXP/CAT01

2. Double Click on Internal Catalog

3. Select MDM radio Button under selected catalog details

4. click on Schedule jobs button

5 OK

In our case it is throwing error:

No connection to repository; establish connection

to loaded repository

Please advice.

Hi,

We resolved our issue by changing MDM DBMS Host entry in MDMAPIC tcode.

We were entering hostname of DB server where we had to enter service name like orcl.xxx.yyyy.com.

Please let me know in case it is not resolved in your case.

You can fetch it from listener file in /ORACLE/SID/PRODUCT/NETWORK/ADMIN/

Hi Shiva,

could you provide more information about the configuration?

We are running an MSSQL DB.

In the mdmapic tcode unter MDM DBMS Hosts i've put HOSTNAME\DBNAME.

I've tried entereing the IP instead of the the Hostname and several other variations, with no success.

In the WebService I have provided in the integrated call structure following parameters:

username, password, server, catalog, uilanguage, datalanguage.

Am I missing an essential parameter to connect to the repository?

Any kind of help would be appreciated.
