Hi Experts,
Does somebody face this issue :
I've 3 users with BPC Admin Right.
For One User, i can edit members of dimensions
For the others, while i click on link to edit members, nothing happens
Also Strange :
While I make a Back Up and restore, the problem seems to disappear.
But , it is not acceptable as solution.
Any Idea ?
Tks for any suggestion,
Olivia.
Solution was provided by sap support by :
- executing UJE_VERIFY_SECURITY_DATA with fix security option
- empty ICM cache and cachebuster
tks guys for your help,
olivia

Hello Olivia,
As per the screen shot error message, BUPA01 is not available in the BU dimension.
please check the data access profiles for those 3 users and make sure all the users have same data access profile roles.
and one more thing if BUPA01 is not available in remove that member in DAP.
Thank you very much

Hell Saida,
That's true : we cleared BU Dim and DAP.
Nevertheless, the acces for BU Dim still persists and is not available 😞
Is there a way to process one environnement in BW ?
Because it is strange to notice that when we make a back up, and then, we restore it to create a new one, the problem disappears for while , until its appears again
tks a lot,
Hi Olivia,
What do you do with that restored Environment from the time you can edit members to the time you don't? Does it just lay down there or some activities are going on?
If you make some actions on that new Environment can you check if you can still edit members after each of those steps?
Also, can you create a user ID that has SAP_ALL and check if you can edit members with that ID when other IDs already can't? If SAP_ALL user can, then it's authorization issue, otherwise it's something else.
If it's authorization issue, you can try running a trace for both users in t/a ST01 and compare where RC is not 0 for the use that can't edit.
Regards,
Gersh
Hi Gersh,
We try, but same.
With same role as mine , SAP Support cannot reproduce the issue !
But, we ve my login I still have the problem;
Fortunatly, loading dimension members by DataManager works.
I'm waiting to have a distant session with SAP Support to reproduce with them.
So strange...
Tks a Lot,
