BI Platform Support Tool Issue: Cluster summary in the Report Results is displaying the wrong OS

The cluster summary in the Report Results is displaying the wrong OS.  It is showing "Windows Server 2008 6.2" - the clustered servers are running "Windows Server 2012 R2".  These clustered servers are VMs, if that makes a difference.  Thank you!

Hi Ken,

this is a bug on BIP and not of the Support Tool.

There is a SAP Note and it will be fixed in a future BIP release:

Windows 2012 is declared as "Windows 2008 6.2" in the CMC Servers metrics for C++ processes

What options did you select when you ran the BI Support Tool?  I have a run where I just ran the Server and Services report.  It reports the Operating System correctly as Windows Server 2012 (6.2) and we are also running on VMs.

I just selected Server and Services when I ran the report (I had previously created a landscape of our clustered production instance).  Thanks!
