Hi Experts,
We are doing a CRM Archiving project for various objects (activities, opportunities, salesorders, service orders etc).
Our issue is we found that there are same document numbers from diffrent fiscal years ex: 1000000041 in both (2010, 2015).
This is probably because the number ranges were reset.
did someone come across a similar situation? .
With archiving we can restrict the documents to be archived with residence time set in CRMORDERARC.
Thanks & Regards,
SAtya
Hi, if the duplication doesn't matter, just forget it. Because it's very normal if you set same number range for different transaction type. The transaction type is also a key for table CRMD_ORDERADM_H.

Hi,,
It is true 2 documents with different number ranges may have same document ID if these different number ranges overlaps.
Furthermore, you may check transparent table crmd_orderadm_h in se11 and the DB key is client and GUID so DB allows duplicate document ID too.
PS, transaction type is not key for crmd_orderadm_h.
