O4NA - End of IS-Oil material

Hi Guys,

I am zero about IS-Oil. Could you please help to resolve the below issue.

User is trying to end of IS-Oil material by using O4NA transaction code. System throws an error as below

Material assignment only possible with zero stock

    Message no. OC830

Diagnosis

    The assignment of a material segment to a tank at a tank storage

    location is only possible when the stocks at the beginning and the end

    are zero (zero stocks).

Procedure

    Post a physical inventory with a zero count on this material segment,

    assign the material to the tank, and then re-initialize the stock for

    the tank. Before the end of the assignment, make sure that the stock is

    back to zero.

However there is no stock showing for this material in MMBE transaction. but it showing on order stock - 558.013.

Kindly help how to end of this material without any error and what is the cause of this error.

Clear the on-order stock and try again.

Hi Mallinath,

On order stock means, this material stock value is not zero?

I checked in ME2L, there some open PO's are there for this material. Do you mean once we clear all open PO's then only this material stock value become zero and then we can end this material in O4NA.

We cleared on-order stock and tried, still we are getting the same message.

Could you please guide me what could be the reason.
