SAP IDES DISP+WORK.EXE stop after changing the IP address of system

Hi,

I have SAP IDES (Oracle Database) machine running on WS2008-R2-Ent-SP2. after changing machien's IP Address Dispt+work.exe is just starting for one minute and going back to gray(stopped).

Please assist...

Bring up the listener service.

enter your new IP in etc/host along with domain and restart the instance

Hi,

I think this is due listener issue.

Please check below note.

609332 - Composite note: ORA-12541/ORA-12224


OR You can always reconfigure/add/remove your listener service with "netca" command.

Something related to the database.

Maybe you need to edit the Oracle listener configuration files in order to list the new IP ("tnsnames.ora", if I'm not mistaken, I'm not an expert on Oracle ).

Hi Abdul.

Is this any local host enter added? After change of the IP address, Are you able to ping (IP addrsss) & Ping (SAP Host name)?
