Hi ALL,

We are facing the issue mentioned in the KB Article:-

2217064 - Creating an Information Space with facets of data type DATE, displays a timestamp along with date. Exporting the Information Space to Excel format exports the timestamp as well.

As per the release plan it shows the fix will be available in SP5 Patch 11, SP6 Patch 5, SP08.

Can someone please confirm if it is available on SP7 baseline or not? if Yes in what Patch.

    If you read the bottom of the SAP Note, it states that it DID NOT make to SP7.  Other key dates to make not:

- BI 4.1 SP05 Patch 11 was released Dec 12th 2015

- BI 4.1 SP06 Patch 05 was released Dec 4th 2015

- BI 4.1 SP07 was released Nov 30th 2015

       - Not enough time in integrate SAP Note http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/2217064

This fix is slated to go BI 4.1 SP8 and BI 4.2 SP1.

For some reason I don't see this piece of the information which says

"BI 4.1 SP07 was released Nov 30th 2015        - Not enough time in integrate SAP Note http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/2217064 "

In any case it should have been included in any of the patch of top of SP7, otherwise there is a long wait for SP08.

   The release dates can be found on the main download site for each patch and SP.  It is still soon say for sure that it won't make it to any if the patches for SP7.

- Patch 01 for SP7 is roughly slated for Jan 29th 2016

- Patch 02 for SP7 is roughly slated for Mar 11th 2016

Thanks for the information Ajay.

What I was looking in case someone from SAP BI team can check the corresponding ADAPT and can confirm the patch planning on top of SP7.

7.1 is due in JAN, I am expecting that as per FF plan there are chances that this fix can be included in it.

     SAP does NOT use ADAPT ## anymore, all fixes are tracked using SAP Notes.  Forward fitting document have also been retired since the release of BI 4.1

The only way to get confirmation is to create a SAP Support Message and they can speak to the developers directly to get update.   At this point it should make it into Patch 01, keep checking the SAP Note on a weekly basic for updates.
