BI Platform Support Tool Enhancement Request: remove only Enterprise Aliases created by the tool

Hi,

when you use Enterprise Alias Manager and the "Remove" option, the process will remove all enterprise aliases, whether they are created with the BI platform Support tool or not.

It would be very nice to have an option to onlu delete the enterprise aliases created with this tool (so leave the other ones untouched)

Hi Eddy,

Please look forward to that in 2.0.5, the Enterprise Alias Manager will now allow you to select specific groups for add/remove aliases.

Hi Eddy,

I'm afraid there is no good way to do this unless we were to tag the user object with some string that we could use to understand which were created by the BIPST.  The problem is, some customers may not like us to tag their user objects to make this possible.

However, we will be adding a way for you to specify a specific group of users to create/delete alias instead of all users.  Would that help with your business case?
