Problem with display JAVA parameters

Hi experts,

I have a problem, why some parameters on my server displayed as pack of asterisk.

I want to see value, but i can't.

How to change it?

May be I have to change parameter?

hi alex,

some ume related data (and other data too) are stored encrypted in the portal database. do not modify them without documentation!

if you have edit certain ume related data please follow the official documentation ( Configuring User Management - Identity Management - SAP Library )

in your case if you want to see what's the password min length - check the ume configuration (http://<host>:<port> / irj -> System Administration - System Configuration - UME Configuration - Security Policy)

ah sorry for the incorrect assumption. what system do you use?

i don't think it is possible to disable the encryption (security reasons).

Hi Christian,

I'm using SAP PI 7.40

Also when I check parameters from /webdynpro/dispatcher/sap.com/tc~sec~ume~wd~umeadmin/UmeAdminApp# and get clear text, so I can see any parameters which available in Configuration tab..

But I want to get it in NWA in clear text.

Please, help me experts!
