How can I find batch jobs for SAP MDM?

Hello folks,

As a part of the Compliance Audits, I have been asked to find the batch jobs running in SAP MDM system. However, as per my understanding there are no batch jobs residing in the MDM system...Is it correct?

If there are batch jobs residing in the system, please guide on how to find them.

Please provide your inputs and clear my understanding...

Thanks and Regards,

Jithin James

Hi Jithin,

Please provide detailed information as what is exactly needed by you. As in MDM there are no batch jobs like in SAP ECC components.

Data is transferred from MDM to other systems via 'SYNDICATOR'.

Single records are transferred using MDM workflow (created in Data manager).

Bulk records are syndicated via MDM syndicator.

You can ask BASIS team to check Distribution folder for the data which has moved out/in from MDM.

hi Jithin,

SAP MDM jobs which are triggered by using MDM workflows  can be seen in workflow tab in Record mode in Data Manager. Here you will get information of batch jobs with the job id and their status like launched/completed/error/Archived etc.

But you can only see this information if your user id is maintained as Owner in Workflow table for that workflows, or you need to login to data manger with whatever user id is maintained in the workflow table.
