Thanks Devanshi

I think this will give you a better idea, I need the total of field in the red lines, actually LM & LP are products and quantity produced against them are in red area, A,B,E,M etc are material used to produce that quantity. Now i want to club produced quantity in one column.

In crosstab expert try doing this in CustomizeStyle Tab :

If this do not serve your purpose than attach the screenshot of crosstab expert's 1st and last tab.

And where do you want the total?

Hi Asif,

Go to the crosstab expert > Remove the second field under 'Columns'.

That should give you two columns - LM and LP with totals.

Hi Abhilash

The second field (Finished Goods Quantity) under columns has separate info from Total (Total of Raw Material used) at bottom. So second field under column is required.

Hi Asif,

Here's what you need to do:

1) Note down the field you've used as first Column of the Crosstab

2) Go to the Group Expert > Insert a group on this field

3) Suppress the Group Header and Group Footer

4) Create a formula that looks something like this: (You'd need to replace the fields I've used with your database fields)

Sum({Finished_goods_qty}, {Field_used_as_the_first_column})

5) Go to the Crosstab Expert > REPLACE the existing second field under 'Columns' with the formula field you created above.

6) Go to the Crosstab Expert again > Customize Style tab > Under 'Columns', highlight the field below the the text 'Grand Total'.

7) Under 'Group Options', select 'Suppress Subtotal'

Hope this helps.

Hi Abhilash

It works but only one column (LM) is displaying instead of all columns

And what happens when you remove this formula field from the crosstab's column? Do you see both LM and LP?
