Financial Consolidation

Dear Sirs/Madams;

We use BSC module over BW 7.0 version in our company and we are planning to move Financial Consolidation in the future.

I would like to ask you what is the prerequisite in terms of BW version for FC tool, is 7.0 working with FC or we need a version upgrade?

Hello Baran

The SAP Financial Consolidation product does not run on BW. It uses a relational database (HANA, SQL Server or Oracle)

There is a tool (Cube Designer) that can take this data and create cubes, on with BW or MS Analysis Services.

The supported BW versions are BW 7.01, BW 7.3, BW 7.31 and BW 7.4.

With FC10.0, the supported BW versions are BW 7.01, BW 7.3, BW 7.31 and BW 7.4.

• BW 7.30 is supported as of FC 10.0 Support Package 06.
• BW 7.31 is supported as of FC 10.0 Support Package 13.
• BW 7.4   is supported as of FC 10.0 Support Package 15 patch02.
