Configure usage probability issue

Hi Gurus,

While running the LTP MRP run we are not able to explode the BOM components in the requirements lists this is all are going under back ground programs.

By manual check-up we found that there is a problem at PIR's screen in schedule line tab by selecting the line item and pressing the "CONFIGURATION: MAINTAIN THE USAGE PROBABILITY", then again we run the LTP MRP then the BOM is exploding properly. How we can do this setting automatically.

Because the user requires it as a complete automatic and the same situation with other material codes are working fine for only one material we have this problem.

Any flash lights on this. It will great.

Is your material is Configurable materials? What is the planning strategy of material?

Have you defined any planning strategy for dependent materials also?

Hi Rupesh,

Yes my material is configurable material. Strategy is 40 and there is no strategy for dependent materials.

Hello,

I dont know what is the business requirement and scenario for configurable material planning with strategy 40. Planning Stategy 56 is design for that in order to get dependent requirements from the planning of configurable materials, components should not be configured with strategy group 70 or 59.

Define configurable Profile  with planning profile MDP6

Maintain Characteristics Usage in MD61
