Hi Experts,

We are performing SCM Upgrade from 5.1 to 7.0 EHP3.

In Execution Step, we have been asked to Upgrade the Live Cache and perform Section C Steps of Report /SAPAPO/OM_LC_UPGRADE_70.

LiveCache has been upgraded successfully to, LCA Build 100.28 PL 002 with Kernel 7.9.8.35.

After that, we are performing Steps Under Section C.

C1 and C2 are completed successfully.

During Step C3, Load Mater Data,

we get an error message "Jobs for creating

Master Data are Faulty".

When we checked the background jobs, a background job,

RESOURCE_LC_CLIENT_300, fails below message:

Job started

Step 001 started (program

/SAPAPO/RESOURCES_LC_CREATE, variant &0000000000010, user ID DDIC)

Prepare data

Create Resources

Create Resources with setup matrix

Wrap Up

Error creating resources in liveCache

Check the spool

Error occurred while creating resources inliveCache

Job cancelled after system exception

ERROR_MESSAGE

In Spool we only find below information, no other information.

Below are the spool entries:

Data statistics Number of

Records passed 61

Can any one suggest what can done to eliminate this error.

Thanks and Regards,

PC

Hi All,

In parallel, we had raise a message to SAP for this.

SAP checked and released a Note for our problem.

2271026 - LiveCache returns code 17442 when changing resources

After implementing this note, our issue is solved.

Thanks and Regards,

Hi Pradeep,

Have you applied the following SAP note?

1890694 - /SAPAPO/OM_LC_UPGRADE_70: Problems with upgrade to SCM 7.0 Enhancement Package 3

Best regards,

Hi James,

Yes, All SAP Notes in this Note are considered for Upgrade.

All required notes applied in Start Release Before Section A,

And for Section C, there was no need, as the required notes are already imported with the Latest SPS with SUM.

Thanks and Regards,
