BADI for generating free Text

Hello,

  When user maintains a valutation in the Specification , A free text has to be generated automatically based on the value of valuation.

   Is there any other BADI available in EH&S where we can we write programm for this requirement

I tried with BADI EHS_VAI_ADD_DAT , but not succussfull.

there are two options

Option 1:)

=> check

C1070001 EHS: Additional checks for a char. value assignment instance

OPtion 2: Use of BADI: EHSS_SPEC_CHECKS

(e.g. https://www.consolut.com/en/s/sap-ides-access/d/s/doc/YN-IF_EX_EHSS_SPEC_CHECKS~~~~~~~~AT_SAVE_CHECK)

The last option is in my opinion the right one

Hi Christoph,

   When we see the name of this BADI , it leads me to write check functionalities rather than modifying functionalities.

       I was misled by the name of this BADI, initially when I was going through first link you have mentioned.

    We have used BADI_EHSS_SPEC_VAL_CHECK to generate free text.
