Hello,

if it is necessary to post to a special period in TBB4, you can use

the following workaround:

1) Execute TBB4 as usual, but do not set indicator 'Post immediately'.

As a result scheduled flows will be created for accruals/deferrals.

2) Execute TBB1 for these flows and enter the posting period needed.

Transaction TBB4 will not be enhanced, but the required functionality

is available for transaction TPM44 (available starting with EnhP3 and

when the corresponding business function is activated).

Hope this helps.

Best regards,

Jasmine

Thanks,

But this workarround its not usefull for us, the posting are not the same at all in tbb1 and tbb4...

Tcode TPM44 seems to be operative only for Securities, we would need it for MM

Hello,

The workaround is about accrual/deferral posting as below:

If you execute TBB4 with option "Post immediately" off, then the accrual/deferral flow will be created with posting status Scheduled.

Then you can post the scheduled accrual/deferral flow with TBB1, there you can specify the posting date and posting period.

Please also note that "Special periods represent an extension of the last normal posting period. When the posting date falls within the last normal posting period, then during document entry you can specify that the transaction figures be updated separately in one of the special periods".

For example, the posting date is 2015.12.31 (last period 12), then you can specify posting period 13.
This is the same for TPM44.

You can upgrade your system with enhancement e.g. EHP3 at least, the TPM44 can be used for OTCs as well after business function FIN_TRM_LR_FI_AN is activated. You may find more information in Release notes.

Best regards,

Jasmine

Hi Julio,

In TPM44 you have "Posting Period" parameter. I assume you are with an earlier version of ERP 6.04

Kind Regards
