Hi,
We are trying to see if we can install the crystal server 11.5 on our windows server 2008 (32-bit).
Also what version of IIS can we use to make sure crystal server will run on that server?
Thanks,
Annie
Crystal Server 11.5 went out of support a number of years ago and has never been supported on newer operating systems.
Having said that, you may be able to get it to run on Windows 2008. For IIS, you'll need IIS 6 or maybe 7. However, there are no guarantees any of this will work.

Hi Dell,
Thank you very much for the quick reply.
Here is our next questions:
Since the current version has been out of support, what version would you recommend us to upgrade to? What is the compatible windows server? Any migration process for the existing reports? Please provide us with the detailed documentation. We have 5 reports and 5 users. What is the cost for this kind of a set up?
Thanks,
Annie
The latest version is Crystal Reports Server 2013. It will work on Windows server 2008 or 2012. You would also need Crystal Reports 2013 because odds are that you'll have to update the data connections in the reports to use newer database drivers.
Yes, there is a migration process. How you would do this will depend on whether you want to keep any existing instances from schedules. Since you only have 5 reports and 5 users, recreating your current setup and security from scratch will be very easy. If you have to keep the instances from your existing server, it's going to be a bit more complicated. You'll have to do a two-step upgrade, first to Crystal Server 2008 and then to 2013 as there is no direct migration from XI (11.5) to 2013 available.
I don't know what the cost is, you would have to contact SAP Sales for that info. You can get more info here: SAP Crystal Server 2013 | Analytics Products | Categories for Terms & Conditions (EULA) | S...
