SAP ECC 6.0 EHP7.0 IDES on MaxDB fails with error "testconnect" exists with error code 2

Hi All,

I am installing SAP ERP 6 EHP 7.0 on MAXDB Database on windows 2008 R2.

I was using SAP ERP 6 EHP 7.0 on MaxDB using "Software Provisioning MGR 1.0".

I have download the below setup files.

1. Installed Jdk 1.7

2. Installed Software Provisioni Installation Export  ECC 6 EHP 7 SR2ng MGR 1.0

3. Downloaded Kernel 7.42

4. Downloaded UC Kernal 7.42.

5. Downloaded RDBMS - SAP MaxDB

6. Downloaded Installation Export 1 &2  ECC 6 EHP 7 SR2

I configured the installation and Execute the installation. It failed while importing ABAP. Please see the below error message.

Hi All,

I found the solution for this error message.

I have downloaded the "MaxDB_7.9_RDBMS___SP8_Build_21" and again tried installing SAP ECC 6.0 EHP 7.0 IDES , this time Installation went successful.

Previously I have download MaxDB 7.6 that failed in Importing ABAP status.

The recommendation while choosing the number of Parallel jobs should be 2- 3 parallel jobs per CPU.However last time I selected the value as default value 6, It failed importing.

This time I entered the value as 2, installation went successful.

1. Have you refer the SAP Note 2074445 to update the latest version R3load?

2. Could you share sapinst.log

Hi Sriram,

I used windows Snapshot to restore my machine to before starting of the installation status.I am going to start the installation again.

Thanks for Note 2074445, I checked the note, as per the note its mentioned that need to apply the patch for SAP KERNEL 7.42 64-BIT.

I my using UC Kernel 7.42, can you please let me know what I need to download from the below screenshot and How to update the latest version of R3Load?
