Problem while migrating universes to BI 4.1 SP06

Hello everybody,

I am experiencing a problem while migrating from a Bo XI R2 Platform to a BI 4.1 SP06 (Windows server). I have selected folders and universes. During migration, i did not hqve problems with the folders, however, the import progress dialogue box is showinga message concernig to the universes (in fact, none of the universes were migrate):

"cannot initialize class because prior initialization attempd failed" or "can't find dependance libraries"

Can anyone help me out please?. thanks very much in advance...

Hello,

To move universes from XI to 4.1, you should use 'Upgrade Management Tool' (of 4.1)

Then look in [{install}/logging] directory to see more infos about your issue.

You should have an [upgrademanagementtool_tracexxxx.glf] file somewhere in this directory.

Check if you have some exception in this file....

I created a biar file and I made the migration  using the file throught the UMT (biar vers live method). I will have your advise in mind for the next migration. thanks once again.
