ODBC Connection Problem

Hi,

I’ve installed Crystal Report on my PC, but when I try to connect to the data base (LOLA.word Oracle dans OraHome92) I’ve got this error message :

"Impossible de démarrer la connexion.

Détails : 09004:[Oracle][ODBC][Ora]ORA-12154: TNS : l'adresse

symbolique n'a pas pu être résolue

[Code du fournisseur de la base de données : 12154]"

here's my configuration:

• windows 7
• 64 bits machine
• SAP Crystal Reports 2013
• Oracle Client 10
• 32 bits odbc

In the control panel of windows (ODBC 32 bits), I get this error message :

"Les routines d'installation du pilote ODBC Oracle dans OraHome92 sont introuvables. Veuillez réinstaller le pilote."

and then :

"erreurs détectées :

La source de données (DSN) spécifiée présente une incompatibilité d'architecture entre le pilote et l'application"

Could you please help me?

Oracle 10 I recall had a problem with the PATH statement not getting updated to include the path to the Oracle client, something like c:\....\oracle\bin.

If it's not there then add it, CR still looks for the client to be available also.
