Undo an account merge

Accidentally an account merge was started in our CRM system. All documents (activities, leads, opportunities, quotations) were transferred to a wrong account and we need to undo this merge by reassigning the documents back to the original account.

Has anybody faced this situation ? Our idea is to analyse the BAL log and to write an appropriate program.

Thanks for help

It was confirmed by SAP developer that, in cleansing case, if user has moved some data and saved the case, there is no way of getting the information back. The data is already committed to the DB, and new keys are generated wherever relevant. "

There is a relevent report BUSCHDOC. You can run the report to check the change document for BP. The change document is stored in table CDHDR and CDPOS. In this case, you may have a chance to manually change the modification back.
