Not all texts loaded in InfoPackage SAP BW

Hi,

I have a problem with loading texts to characteristic. I created InfoSource on ERP system. On BW system I replicated InfoSource then created transformation, then InfoPackage and Data Transfer Process - DTP. After loading texts data first in InfoPackage, when I preview PSA there are characteristic keys but there is no texts. I have no idea why there is no texts.

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks for interesting.

Hi,

please let us know below points.

1. What kind of data source you created?

2. What  fields you have in your data/info source.

3. Have tested data at ECC side RSA3?

Below are useful points to load master  text data to info object.

1. First we need to enable attribute text option at info object level and select required text(short/medium/long)

2. at ECC side you need to have same ecc fields which holds key and text(short/medium/long) description along language. Text data source always comes with mandate 5 fields.

so please recheck your data flow and find the mistakes

Hi Raman,

1. I created DataSource on ERP system in SBIW (RSO2) t-code. And then replicated it in BW system.

2. I have 2 fields - key and text. One thing is different. Key on ERP is NUMC(8). Key on BW (characteristic) is CHAR(40). Maybe it is a problem?

3. I have not tested data at ECC side RSA3, I don`t know how to do it.

I have enable text option attribute in characteristic and selected text lenght.

The problem is that there is keys but no texts after loading delta InfoPackage which is need to DTP.

The problem was in fields different. I changed fields type everyone to CHAR(40) and its OK.

Could you tell me what is testing data at ECC side RSA3?
