Hi all,

We are newly implementing SAP-FSCM-Credit Management one of the Kuwait client, but they do not have any Rating agencies in Kuwait. My client was expecting automatic credit score calculation without using external rating agencies in ECC.

Awaiting your quick response.

Thanks for advance.

Hi Narasimha,

Mostly the financial business processes like dunning, write off, payment returns etc. adds more creditworthiness points in to customer's master record. And, those creditworthiness points can then be replicated to FSCM (if you use financial processes in FICA).

So, both master data and transactional data can be replicated to FSCM. The transactional data then can be stored as a internal credit rating which you can finally use in your credit score calculating formula.

You can refer below link for this.

Ok Narasimha.

So you must have activated XI connections from FI-AR to FSCM to replicate customer master data to create business partners.

On top of that, you will also have to replicate transactional data from FI-AR like dunning history, payment behaviour etc.

So you will have to configure and develop (BAdi) couple of things there. You can refer below links in this regard.

Hope this helps.

Let me know how you go.

Just an addendum to Bodhisattwa's reply.

The XI connection to replicate BP is only necessary if your ECC system is different from FSCM and it is ECC 5.0 or lower. From ECC 6.0 the XI connections are not necessary you can directly achieve this using IDocs (follow the IMG documentation).

Hi Narasimha,

Credit rating can be both internal and external. If you do not have external credit reporting bodies, you can use internal financial activities to calcualte customer's overall credit management score.

For example, apart from external credit score, you can make use of dunning, payment returns or information of other activities to creae internal ratings.

Based on the financial system you are using AR-AP or FI-CA, you can import those information in FS-CM.

To start with, you can explore in below link.
