ByD Excel Addin - Posting date transferred as text format

Hi All,

when running the G/L Line Item report in the Byd Excel Addin all dates (esp. posting date) are transferred as text formatted and not as date formatted.

That makes filtering by date quite difficult.

Does anyone have an idea how dates can be provided in date format in Excel?

Hi Peter,

The problem I had with the migration of times (date). I have the following Excel formula used:

TEXT(A1;"JJJ-MM-TT")  -> german formula

thanks a lot.

I assume the formula would help when using the transferred data in an additional spreadsheet as a work around:

- Integrate ByD-Report in Excel-Addin and update date

- Refer to the updated data by using that formula from a different sheet

My preferred solution would be to transer the data directly into ByD-Report with the correct format. But as far as I know this is not possible with an excel formula since the cells will be overwritten with absolute values.

And I assume it is not possible to transfer the dates in date-format neither. What a pitty!
