Hi Experts,

               We would need a validation on a rule that if the H-phrase is not entered in the property tree of a substance, it should default the value of another phrase to a particular value.

We tried with the ISNULL(expression) but it doesn't work.

Any ideas?

Hi Soumya,

Please be more precise. You want that a rule set (which one?) outputs a certain phrase (which one), if another phrase (which one?) is not maintained.

We would need that if no H-phrases are defined for a particular substance then it should default another the value of a custom phrase in the property tree to a particular value.

Hi Soumya,

That will not work only via adapting the mapping tables of the rule set in question. You need at least, n this case, to maintain a phrase like "no classification required" to tell the rule set that nothing needs to be done. You cannot tell the rule set not to do anything if no phrases are present.
