Hello ,
We have analysis workbooks published in BI launchpad and our users have analysis for office excel add-in ( 2.1 version)
Some of the users are facing a problem when trying to open the workbook, excel keeps spinning for more than 10 mins before they get the prompt screen
In case an y of you faced this problem , please let me know

Hi Arun,
Can you check with RAM of the system used? It is a known issue with particular version of AO 2.1 , it is fixed with a patch later on, Refer 2201473.

Hi - I moved to the BI platform space, as this could be a function of sizing the BI platform
I recommend you share your version of the BI platform (BI4.x) and if you have the Analysis Office BI platform add-on installed.

we are on BI 4.1 SP06, we dont ahve the analysis office add-on installed
We are using analysis for office excel add-on installed on the client machines to open the workbooks published in BI launchpad folder ( BI launchpad has SSO with backend BW)
Issue is faced by not all users ,but a few . For them the initial prompt screen takes too long , but once the get the prompt screen they can work with excel without any issues
