scheduling of operations

as we aware, we have 3 activities (setup, machine, labor) defined in work center which will be assigned in operation. each activity will have formula for scheduling. when we check start and end date of individual operation in cm25- how system calculates the duration of each operation, is it some of all 3 activities time (setup, machine, labor)? please clarify.

Hello

Scheduling and capacity requirements are different things. The capacity requirements are calculated according to the formulas defined on tab capacity of the work center. There is one formula for setup and another for processing and you can test the formula results on the work center.

You mean the operations start and end times displayed in cm25 screen, are they from the formulas defined in scheduling tab of the work center? or capacity tab? how to see how scheduling (start and end times) happens for particular operation of the process order? appreciate response.
