Custom Layout is not getting reflected in WPC

Hi Experts,

We have a requirement where we need a custom layout for WPC. We have followed http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-16314 for creating custom WPC layout but some how the custom layout is not visible in WPC editor layout list.

Hi Pankaj,

Have you checked if your custom layout is maintained in the same PCD location as is mentioned in the WPC property of the area?

If not, then the page layout will not be visible.

Also are you able to create a PCD page using the layout and Preview it on Portal?

Hi Rohit,

Thanks for your response. Yes, I have maintained my custom layout under portal_content->templates->WPC Templates->Layouts

Also, I can create a PCD page out of my custom layout and can preview it as well.

Please follow these guide, make sure you go through all of the steps;

notice the steps on the bottom of the document referring to WPC and sending you also to this page:

Adjusting Custom Layouts to Ajax Page Builder - Portal - SAP Library

Where it shows you the difference in the layouts, mainly the "XML_Template" element in portalapp.xml.

It should work.

Thanks Saar. I have done it. Mainly the Page ID and layout ID mentioned under "XML_Template" in http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-16314 is wrong. I have modified it and it is working.
