CPM Resource Management

Hi All,

Appreciate if some one can help me to understand resource management feature available in SAP CPM.

Below are my confusion,

In case of CPM PS integration , we have option to create Roles,Team, Team member as a part of Master Project, but how it is linked with SAP PS resource.

As there is any relationship between CATS and CPM team Member.

Hi Amit,

There is no relationship between team structure of master project with CATS/PS resource available.

Team structure in CPM is only used to know resources in master project and also can assign responsibilities w.r.t. business object which is limited within CPM.

Hi Amit,

On further clarification, CPM team structure is independent entity within CPM. Team in CPM is used by managers to notify, assign responsibilities (w.r.t objects like WBS, NWA, issue, change request and so on), quick contact, quick mail, for approval (like in issue and change request) and so on.

Added feature is that CPM pulls the resources from HR master and from other sources. You can find different option available while assigning team members.
