Application cannot be used because it was started in the wrong browse mode internet explorer

Hello, SAP Gurus.

We got sap crm 7.31, and when open transaction from erp show me the follow add:

"Application cannot be used because it was started in the wrong browse mode internet explorer runs in standards mode (IE9 or higher). The application was started, however, in compatibility mode."

In crm apply sap note 1975402, and in erp apply the sap note 1926394, later I made a test but the problem continous.

Hello everybody,

The problem was resolved.

Put parameter CRM_THTMLB_IE_COMP=IE8 or IE7 in user parameter SU01 transaction,  and this error is fixed.

Hi,

In SAP portal transaction iview, we met the same error message.

maybe your can try the following steps:

1. apply 1970427 in snote

2. tcode sicf:

     /default_host/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui

     add the following parameter in "GUI Configuration" button 

     parameter name: SAP-IE

     value : EmulateIE8

Thanks for your answer, I think this will work, but when try to apply the paremeter SAP-IE, show me ad "service parameter ~SAP-IE contains special characters. Please correct

So i try wrote without ~ , and show me the same.

Hi Anderson,

Could you provide SAP_BASIS version and patch level?

Ex: 740. 002

Based on SAP note, this is workaround solution.

You need to also update your portal.

My problem is with crm webclient, and I followed your instructions and apply sap note 1970427 in crm and erp, because from crm webclient calls erp transaction.

Basis component in crm and erp, are:

CRM: SAP_BASIS 7.31 level 0004

ERP: SAP_BASIS 7.31 level 0006

Hello sap crm gurus.

We applied manual activities, but add continue appear, and aditional when check any transaction from crm webclient don´t appear the scroll bar.
