Self occupied house property - IT 0584

Dear Experts,

We have a requirement in Income from other source.

Currently in SAP we are not able to capture proposed Ded.-Interest u/s 24 amount which is more than 200000 lakhs under self occupied/deemed house property. System throws an warning message if we are crossing the Int. limit. But, clients are asking where to capture the proposed amount of an employee.

Is their any way to handle in SAP.

It is simply a warning message, hit Enter and it will allow you to save the proposed amount.

The quickest way without ABAP effort is to create an IT 14 wage type to store this amount . Configure the wage type such that it has no impact on salary, tax or posting.

Or alternatively, you can enhance IT 584 with a z field to capture this amount.
