SAP ERP 6.0 EHP7 IDES Installation Error

Hi Expert,

We are Facing unusual error.

We are in the middle of installation of SAP ERP 6.0 EHP7 IDES in Distributed Environemnt ( Database on Different host ).

We downloaded the Software from below destination and these are Media files were downloaded for ASE on Linux X86_64 (Please see the Screen Shot Below)

We downloaded the SWPM 1.0 SP9 and started the Installation.

We completed the Installation of ASCS instance using the Below Path

and then started with installation of DB Instance but its failing at the Abap import Phase

Checked the log file for it. its saying R3load and R3ldctl may be on different version but its the same version

that is kernel 7.42 patch 300 for both

we have been stuck here for quite a few days now.

Have few Question.

1. The installation option that we have Selected for EHp7 Erp6.0 Ides is correct or not Because During the Installation, export path it asks for Installation Export ECC EHP7 Sr2 but we cant see any SR2 mention in the Export media file. So have we selected the the wrong option in Swpm ??

or Instead of SAP Business Suite 7i 2013 Support Release 2, do we need to select SAP Netweaver 7.4

2. Also we have checked the port and Hostname. its correct

then what could be the Problem

Dear Arif,

Follow the below step

- Open the file DDLSYB.TPL file and remove the function crefunc: from the file and retry the steps.

for the error please check S4HANA install error | SCN (even this is for HANA but the install error is same)

The master guide and install guide for IDES and normal EHP7 install is same, please follow below link.
