SAP Cloud Connector Destination Check Connection Failed

Hello Experts,

We are trying to configure the SAP Cloud Connector and have followed the SAP HANA Cloud Connector Administration guide.  We have the Connector State is connected and operational (green).  The Access Control is setup with mapping virtual to internal systems and the status shows to be green there too.  We have added resources and they are all green as well.

From the HCP Cockpit, we can see that the connectivity is available, but check connection attempts on our destination configurations are failing.  See the below screen shots.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Best Regards,

Rick

Hi Rick,

See the "Connectivity Service, Cockpit" part above.

It states that you can only use it with min. version 2.7.1 of Cloud Connector. Check if you're using the eligible version.

Hi Huseyin,

Thank you for your reply.  It was the correct answer.  I installed the 2.7.1 version and we are up and running.

Thanks again!

Best Regards,

Rick

Hi Rick.

one remark though: Also with versions < 2.7.1 your scenario would work. Only the destination check cannot be executed, which is a design time thing. There is no influence on the runtime, which would still work.

Best regards,

Markus

Hi Markus,

Thanks for clarifying it. I was going to note that. Checking connection is a fairly new feature and it was limited. At the release notes of Jan 14;

Connectivity of HTTP destinations of Proxy Type=OnPremise can be checked with the Check Connection button in the cockpit's Destinations editor. The check works only with Cloud connector, version 2.7.1 or later.

It is just about checking connection.

Regards,

Huseyin.
